PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO VOTE IN THE RUNOFF

Updated: Apr 19, 2022

There are just a few short weeks before early voting begins in the Primary Election run off. As you may know, I received the highest total number of votes, but in a three candidate race, a winner is declared only when one candidate receives more than 50% of the votes. I am now in a run off with the second highest vote getter.

Typically, only friends and family come out and vote in local runoffs – please don’t leave this important decision to be me made by a small group of supporters.

Why vote Dee Johnson for Judge?

HIGHLY QUALIFIED AND EXPERIENCED

Having practiced law for nearly thirty-two years, I have spent most of my adult life in a courtroom. I understand how an efficient courtroom works, and have tried close to 100 civil jury trials with a better than 90% win rate all across the Texas Panhandle.

I am proud to have represented 5000+ individual and business owners across the Texas Panhandle. This wide range of matters serve to broaden my expertise and provide a well-rounded background for my work as judge.

ENDORSED BY 88 AREA ATTORNEYS AND LAW FIRMS

Many thanks to the 88 attorneys and law firms who have supported me during this campaign. I am honored to have earned the respect of such a large percentage of my colleagues and peers.

HONEST AND TRANSPARENT

I am a time-honored Republican with conservative ideals, including low taxes and transparency at every level. A few years ago, I used a partial quote with an ellipsis in a brief. A judge new to the bench mentioned that I should have used the full quote, while noting that I had an unblemished record. Because I care about my fellow attorneys, I actually circulated his opinion to my peers, so they could avoid similar rulings. Unfortunately, my opponent has reveled in using my own honest and transparent email against me during this campaign.

The citizens of Potter, Randall and Armstrong counties deserve a judge who is honest, slow to anger, and respected by their peers. Please take the time to vote on Tuesday, May 24. Early voting begins May 16.

If you are a conscientious voter and care about good government, I would be honored to earn your vote. Together, we can make sure our constitutional rights and Texas values continue to lead the way in the Texas panhandle
