With 31 years of successful legal experience, Dee Johnson has built a reputation as a thorough and tough litigator with immense respect for the U.S. Constitution. We need Dee Johnson as our next Judge to protect our families from dangerous criminals.
A life-long Republican, Dee fights for our Conservative values as a member of the Amarillo and High Plains Republican Women's Clubs. We can trust Dee to protect the Constitution and never legislate from the bench.
Always prepared to serve her community, Dee has been a member of the West Texas Epilepsy Foundation, Amarillo Symphony Guild, and Lone Star Ballet Guild. She also helped run an elementary mock trial program to help children understand law from a young age and serves as a mentor for high school and college students looking to pursue a legal career.
Dee and her husband, Mike Peters, a local dentist, are proud parents of two college-age children, they are all members of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Amarillo.

Dee was the first in her family to graduate college from the University of Texas at Austin then went to St. Mary's University School of Law where she received her law degree.
Dee Johnson is a devoted mother, lawyer, mentor to local students who have dreams of being a lawyer one day. She has helped students from elementary to college by putting on mock trials and providing internships, helping at debate tournaments, and providing free legal services to local businesswomen and charities.
